Job summary

Hulsing Enterprises is seeking a maintenance technician for Holiday Inn Bradenton West, Bradenton, FL. The role provides day-to-day hotel maintenance, completing work orders and ensuring high service quality with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include responding to guest repair requests, operating electrical/plumbing/refrigeration/boiler systems, and performing preventive maintenance. Two years in maintenance and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years experience in Maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Acknowledge guests per company standards and address concerns.
• Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Check for new maintenance requests from PMS and update remarks.
• Interpret readings from meters and gauges and other instruments.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments; work under pressure with good judgment.
• Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and hotel information.
• Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Complete reports required by brand and Hospitality Company for QA tracking.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms (plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairs) and on equipment.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Regular preventive maintenance (lubrication, filters, fire extinguishers).
• Operate as independent mechanic, analyze problems, and implement solutions.
• Be available for emergencies and act to protect guests and property.
