Desert Reef Hot Springs in Florence, CO seeks skilled crew members for short-term expansion work with potential for long-term employment. Responsibilities include assisting with facility construction, moving of structures, and maintenance of guest areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of plumbing experience (residential or commercial).
• Prior hotel or hospitality maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance manuals.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working morning, afternoon, or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including fixtures, drains, water heaters, and supply lines.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
• Handle basic electrical, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and cosmetic touch-ups.
• Complete work orders accurately and on time using the property maintenance system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls at any hour of shift.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk to minimize guest disruption.

Location: Desert Reef Hot Springs, Florence CO

Employment Type: 1099 with opportunities for W-2

Pay: $17- $22 hourly

Schedule Options:

• 4x10-hour shifts
• 5x8-hour shifts

Shift Availability: Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts available

Our skilled laborer position will be responsible for assisting with operations for facility expansion, construction of new facilities, and the changing and moving of existing structures.
