Job summary
Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Huntsville Embassy Suites in Huntsville, AL. This full-time role performs preventative maintenance, guest room care, and repairs to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and hotel equipment.
Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of general maintenance experience, can lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, and may hold HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $17.85 per hour with full benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
- Complete and document guest and associate work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
- Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
- Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
