Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality (SH) is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to keep extended stay hotels in top condition. You will perform light and preventive maintenance inside and outside, handle plumbing and electrical tasks, and support housekeeping as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, guest satisfaction, and timely responses. It includes on-call duties and cross-training across roles to ensure smooth operations and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, plumbing, painting and general maintenance tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent dependability and sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and calls.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping and laundry duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and preventive maintenance inside and outside the facility.
• Handle plumbing (toilet repair, snaking, faucet repair) and light electrical tasks (outlets, switches).
• Execute Studio Preventive Maintenance Programs (painting, caulking, janitorial work).
• Maintain grounds and common areas including parking lot upkeep.
• Provide cross-training and backup coverage for Move-Out, Stay-Over, and Flex Attendants.
