Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC in Orange Beach, AL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, pool), and keep the property safe and well‑operated. You will take water samples, operate systems, record readings, and assist with emergency responses.

Two years of building maintenance experience and a high school diploma are required; excellent communication with staff and guests is essential.

• Two years of building maintenance experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff and guests

Responsibilities

• Respond to all guest requests in a courteous, efficient manner and perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical)
• Take water samples from boiler, loop and cooling tower systems and monitor chemical levels
• Operate equipment and monitor hot/cold water systems; maintain log readings and notify next shift
• Complete maintenance requests and meter readings; assist with emergency situations like fire alarms and power failures
• Maintain maintenance spaces and assist with parking lot and snow removal as needed
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
