Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and other building systems at our Saraland property. You will direct day-to-day maintenance operations, plan tasks, and ensure preventive maintenance programs keep the property running smoothly.

Candidates should have proven lead-maintenance experience in hotels, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team while upholding safety policies and high guest service

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience in a lead maintenance position.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience highly desired.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize tasks for maintenance activities.
• Manage a preventive maintenance system for day-to-day operations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Lead, motivate and train team members.
• Ensure guests are welcomed with professional appearance and service.
