Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks an Engineer Level 2 to ensure the property is maintained with minimal guest disruption. The role includes HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment testing, with a pay rate of $23–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field required.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Trade school and/or college coursework in related field helpful.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work - exerting >100 lbs occasionally and >50 lbs frequently; must communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Take required readings on equipment and test cooling tower readings.
• Replace and program televisions; repair pumps and plumbing components.
• Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams; diagnose water line issues.
• Test, clean and repair swimming pools and spas; perform drywall or wall finishing.
