The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for providing technical and administrative assistance to the Chief Engineer, supporting all operational aspects of the Engineering Department.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
2. Maintain all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
3. Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption.
4. Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and on time.
5. Practice lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
6. Perform preventive maintenance services in guest rooms and public areas as outlined for the hotel.
7. Conduct maintenance checks of equipment and log properly.
8. Report all safety and security concerns immediately to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty.
9. Secure all key inventories.
10. Respond to emergency situations promptly and assist as needed.
11. Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, kitchens, and convention center equipment.
12. Perform inventory duties as required.
13. Maintain grounds cleanliness and landscaping attractiveness.
14. Keep all workspaces and storage areas clean and orderly.
15. Attend monthly staff meetings.
16. Complete projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.
