HIX FORT WAYNE LODGING LLC is seeking a professional Hotel Maintenance Manager to join our team, overseeing the hotel’s infrastructure and leading maintenance personnel while planning renovation and repair projects.

As the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you should have experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You must be organized and committed to health and safety standards at all times, ensuring the hotel is safe and functional for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or trade school certificate preferred; commensurate experience accepted
• Supervisory maintenance or construction management experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose root causes of failures and suggest solutions
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Strong communication with staff, vendors, and residents

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms and public areas
• Undertake repair and maintenance projects without disturbing guests; update procedures as necessary
• Communicate all problems and resolve them or make recommendations to upper management for resolution
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
