Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to keep our extended stay hotels in top condition in Brownsville, Texas.

You will perform light and preventive maintenance, plumbing and electrical tasks, painting, studio maintenance, and grounds care while delivering dependable service to guests.

This role requires safety focus, a sense of urgency, and the ability to assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent dependability and Sense of Urgency in meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and preventive maintenance of the facility interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with Brand Standards.
• Complete light plumbing and electrical tasks (toilet repair, outlets, switches).
• Execute Studio Preventive Maintenance Programs (painting, caulking, janitorial work).
• Maintain and clean public spaces, parking lot upkeep, and quarterly maintenance program.
• Perform Laundry duties (sorting, washing, folding) and provide backup for Move-Out/Stay-Over attendants as needed.
• Be On-Call for emergencies; time logged as working time.
