Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our Louisville properties. You will ensure exemplary maintenance, support the Chief Engineer, and uphold safety and quality standards across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

The role emphasizes proactive repairs and team collaboration. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in related work or 1–2 years with formal trade training, a valid driver’s license, and the stamina to work in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, specs, and operating instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and basic safety knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trades training encouraged.
• 3–5 years in related field; or 1–2 years with formal education.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel maintenance/upkeep meets standards.
• Assist Chief Engineer in overseeing Engineering functions.
• Follow departmental safety procedures during repairs and installations.
• Provide training/technical advice to other engineers as needed.
• Identify and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
