Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and other building systems at our hotels. The role directs activities around equipment operations and daily property management to meet company goals.

The ideal candidate will have proven maintenance leadership experience, strong technical knowledge of building systems, and a commitment to safety. Hotel experience and teamwork are highly valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Three years minimum experience in a lead maintenance type position.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize tasks.
• Manage and maintain a preventive maintenance system to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
• Follow all company safety and security policies; report problems promptly.
• Proactively identify operational concerns and address to minimize downtime.
• Demonstrate problem solving and team-building skills.
• Oversee, motivate and train team members.
