Job summary

Brandt Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise and coordinate installation and repair of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems across the hotel. The role blends hands-on maintenance with team training and supervision, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a superior guest experience.

The candidate should be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and capable of motivating others while managing routine tasks and responding effectively to guest requests.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, building blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in electrical and mechanical systems with analysis of design intent.
• Broad knowledge of construction and building systems.
• Five years in hospitality maintenance environment (education + hands-on).
• Experience with stationary engineering, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance programs for electrical, mechanical, and construction tasks.
• Assign and verify routine maintenance and operation of hotel facilities.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry tasks as needed.
• Direct team and contractors to meet performance standards.
• Coordinate with city officials for permits and inspections.
• Review new hotel technology and energy programs with vendors.
• Complete work orders within deadlines.
• Replace worn parts and perform pool maintenance as required.
• Assist with moving furniture and stocking supplies as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with guests and contractors.
