Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a maintenance technician for the North Conway Grand Hotel. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment, and may direct other staff in tasks and safety practices.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in building maintenance, carpentry skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The role offers growth toward a Chief Engineer path with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Solid experience repairing mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Carpentry skills and use of basic hand and power tools.
• Certified Pool Operator (if property has pool).
• Ability to safely use power tools and follow safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Direct maintenance staff, delegating tasks and instructing them in methods and tools.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction and teamwork through reliable service.
• Support safety and efficiency across building trades.
