Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the Maintenance Department, supervise staff and outside contractors, and manage preventive maintenance across hotel systems. The role includes budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring guest rooms meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, arranging vendor work, inspecting and approving completed work orders, and coordinating with Front Office and Housekeeping to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Requires supervision of maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Experience planning and scheduling within budget guidelines.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs for building systems.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, counsel, and motivate department personnel.
• Schedule staff within budget constraints to ensure adequate coverage.
• Inspect guest rooms after preventative maintenance and recheck before release.
• Maintain hotel grounds and building exteriors on a daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal basis.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.
• Respond to guest complaints and assist in recovery per LEARN model.
