Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Hot Springs, VA, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to manage day-to-day operations of the F&B support areas and oversee equipment and system maintenance. You will ensure cleanliness of dish rooms, kitchens, bar areas, and related spaces while adhering to health department policies and Omni standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling equipment PMs, operating boilers and hot water systems, and assisting with repairs.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in hotel and/or commercial building maintenance.
• One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience.
• Experience with emergency response procedures.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
• Operate boilers and hot water system and other vessels.
• Maintain kitchen, bar, back docks, maintenance areas and cleanliness.
• Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment.
• Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Repair and maintain swimming pool and pool equipment.
• Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
• Receive direction for house calls via radio.
• Follow Omni fire alarm procedures and OSHA regulations.
