Job summary

Kimpton Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor is hiring a Maintenance Technician to safeguard our hotel's facilities and guest comfort. You will perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders, and support daily operations to keep guest rooms and public spaces in top condition.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of hotel or facilities maintenance experience, and you possess hands-on skills for building systems, lighting, plumbing, and basic repairs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years hotel or facilities maintenance experience.
• Advanced maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain the hotel and its product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Check electrical systems and make minor repairs as needed.
• Handle repairs of hotel equipment including appliances, kitchen and laundry equipment, HVAC, plumbing fixtures.
• Service the hotel's pool and maintain safety records.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Assist in large repair projects and guest-related maintenance tasks.
