Job summary

Kiawah River Hospitality Group LLC is seeking aHotel Maintenance Team Member to safeguard the property's infrastructure and ensure guest comfort. You will perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures, while promptly troubleshooting issues in guest rooms and facilities to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, handling emergency maintenance, and working the overnight shift from 10:30 pm to 7 am.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician or engineer within a hotel or property management preferred.
• Experience with power tools and safety.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to work some PM shifts is required.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, facilities, and guest rooms, addressing problems promptly to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
• Conduct repairs on hotel property, such as fixing leaks, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged furniture or equipment, to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the property.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or elevator malfunctions, to quickly resolve issues and minimize disruptions to guest services.
• Work overnight 10:30 pm - 7 am
