Job summary

AC Hotel & Element Downtown Boise is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. This multi-trade role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs across guest rooms, dining areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house.

The position follows a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, with on-site work in downtown Boise. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, and respond to emergencies with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and basic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
• Conduct general carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and finish repairs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pool, spa, pumps, and water systems.
