Job summary

AC Hotel & Residence Inn Missoula seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general mechanical systems on-site. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safety and reliability of the hotel’s physical plant.

This role requires strong technical abilities, customer service mindset, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred.
• Previous customer service & hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by hotel scheduling.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Repair air conditioners, pumps, lights, and plumbing as needed.
• Manage inventory and work with contractors on projects.
• Direct other engineering staff and assist as needed.
