Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a capable Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team in San Diego. You will respond to engineering service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of hotel systems to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or courses in building maintenance helpful.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment.
• Ability to communicate hotel services to staff and guests.
• Two years of maintenance/construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, etc.).
• Take water samples and maintain chemical levels in boiler and cooling systems.
• Operate equipment and monitor domestic water systems and electrical switch gears.
• Maintain engineering spaces and perform daily maintenance tasks.
