Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a maintenance engineer to perform upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and committed to guest satisfaction.

Requires strong background in commercial refrigeration and basic maintenance knowledge. Full-time with benefits; evening, weekend and holiday hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience preferably in a hotel.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units and air handling units.
• Provide excellent guest service and address issues to enhance guest experience.
• Perform general maintenance and adhere to safety standards.
