The Hamilton in Alpharetta seeks a Maintenance Engineer to provide technical and maintenance services across the hotel to keep equipment and systems in excellent condition. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, pool service, and coordination with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the building stays in good condition.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc.
• Assist in checking electrical systems and perform minor repairs; assist on major repairs of hotel equipment.
• Service the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; maintain logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and refurbish guest room furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
• Operate heavy machinery and use hand/power tools to repair or replace parts.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and consult manuals/blueprints to correct issues.
• Communicate with other departments about guest room conditions and maintain clean work areas.
