Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group is seeking an Engineer for the Tru by Hilton Franklin location in Franklin, TN. You will assist with routine maintenance, repair building systems, and support guest requests to keep the property running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or construction-related experience.
• Basic understanding of building maintenance principles.
• Strong communication and guest/colleague interaction skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting at least 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and bending/kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks across hotel facilities.
• Perform maintenance and preventive repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (refrigerators, ice machines, laundry).

At Parks Hospitality Group , we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be a vital part of keeping our property in peak condition-working side-by-side with our Chief Engineer to tackle routine maintenance, master preventive care, and handle basic repairs across all of our key facility systems.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and preventive repairs on building systems and equipment throughout the property.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, such as refrigerators, ice machines, and laundry equipment.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the hotel grounds and public areas.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines in the use of tools and equipment.
