Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Westin Wilmington in Wilmington, DE. You’ll maintain and repair hotel equipment across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and guest room systems, aiming for minimal downtime and smooth operations.

A High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of trade-related training are required. Proficiency with basic hand and power tools is preferred, and teamwork within a diverse staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of trade-related training or experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other hotel equipment with minimal downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs as needed.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and address malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials; complete required reporting.
• Secure the building by monitoring and maintaining access control and security systems.
