Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington is seeking a General Maintenance Tech to perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, keeping downtime to a minimum. You’ll handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment and must stay safety-conscious.

Flexibility is required for nights, weekends, and holidays. This part-time, on-site role offers competitive hourly pay, hotel discounts, and the chance to grow within a dynamic hospitality group.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of trade-related training or experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and fix equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials and complete required reporting.
• Secure the building by monitoring security systems, repairing locks, and managing keys.
