Embassy Suites Lexington Green in Lexington, KY is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold the hotel's infrastructure and guest experience. The role covers fixing equipment, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest requests to ensure a seamless stay.

The position starts at $18 per hour, with duties ranging from carpentry and plumbing to safety tasks. The team values timely solutions, adherence to procedures, and proactive upkeep across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred.
• Licensed in a trade is preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Handle maintenance requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform preventative maintenance across carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• Conduct regular property walks to identify issues and ensure cleanliness.
• Immediately follow up on alarms or safety concerns.
• Assist in maintenance of health code requirements for pool and spa.
• Assist housekeeping with room stripping, laundry, and gym sanitization.
• Assist with setting up meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
