Job summary

The Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking a hands-on Engineer to maintain our Saint Petersburg property, equipment, and building systems, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for guests and associates.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to prioritize room readiness, while upholding safety standards and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting basic working knowledge required.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Inspect building systems and identify maintenance needs before issues arise.
• Complete repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs promptly to meet standards.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to prioritize room readiness.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and assist with emergencies as required.
