Job summary

M Social Sunnyvale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an Engineer II (General) to perform maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and building systems. You will respond to maintenance requests, complete work orders, and help uphold safety and guest service standards.

The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance, with 2+ years in hotel maintenance and the ability to read manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering, hotel maintenance, facilities, or skilled trade experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and technical instructions.
• EPA/HVAC certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel
• Respond promptly to guest room, public area, and back-of-house maintenance requests
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently
• Inspect equipment, fixtures, and building areas for maintenance concerns
• Perform repairs and adjustments within the scope of training and qualifications
• Maintain tools, equipment, and engineering work areas
• Assist with special maintenance projects and property improvement initiatives
• Document completed work and communicate unresolved issues to Engineering leadership
