Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a skilled Engineer II to join our on-site maintenance team. You’ll perform skilled trade work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance to keep our luxury property operating safely and efficiently while delivering guest-focused service.

In this hands-on role you’ll respond to maintenance requests, conduct routine inspections, document work, and support emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in maintenance or skilled trades in hospitality.
• Post-high school training or equivalent in maintenance/engineering.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications are preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
• Strong safety and MSDS compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled trade work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergencies.
• Conduct routine inspections and address potential issues.
• Operate tools safely and maintain records of work performed.
• Support dispatch, team workflow, and communicate with supervisors.
• Assist with event setup and maintain clean work areas.
