Job summary

The Engineer II will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with teams, and respond to emergencies, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering or commercial maintenance is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical docs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel property.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Operate, inspect, and repair building systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Respond to guest room maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and PM activities.
• Follow Marriott brand standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical parts breakdowns.
• Assist with projects and other duties as assigned by management.
