Job summary

ROI Hospitality is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for our new Holiday Inn Express in Rhinelander, WI. You will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our facility's equipment and systems.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and repairs.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with industrial electrician work, including high voltage systems.
• Knowledge of technical sales and customer service principles.
• Proficiency in industrial maintenance practices, including welding.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• CPO Certification strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
