Job summary

Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter in Dunwoody, GA is seeking a dependable Engineer to maintain a safe, comfortable hotel through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years' maintenance or engineering experience, strong HVAC and plumbing knowledge, and a guest-focused service mindset.

You will perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, refrigeration, and general building systems, respond to requests, and work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems preferred.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration and general building maintenance is a plus.
• Customer-service oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including air handling units and related equipment.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, valves, and water lines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ice machines, refrigeration units, chillers, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests.
• Follow maintenance programs, work orders, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Assist with inventories and proper handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Communicate maintenance concerns and equipment issues to leadership.
• Be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
