The role requires experience in general trades and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a hotel environment, with flexible scheduling to cover emergencies and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in general trades such as light plumbing and electrical work.
• Ability to work varied schedules to address emergencies.
• 1-2 years' hotel or multi-unit building experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within hotel rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls from guests or other departments.
• Address guest requests and resolve matters to guest satisfaction.
• Prioritize maintenance issues and attend to breakdowns as needed.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms and public areas including basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.
• Monitor Life Safety systems and respond to emergencies accordingly.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and water systems.
• Coordinate with departments and provide information and assistance.
• Check and assign new maintenance requests, inspect work and release rooms to service.
