Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a maintenance engineer to supervise the property's maintenance and routine processes, ensuring a safe, fully functional, and enjoyable guest experience. The role requires strong problem solving, reliability, and a service mindset to support guests around the clock.

Compensation starts at $18.50 per hour. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 2–4 years in maintenance, ability to lift 50 lbs, and knowledge of facilities management

Qualifications

• Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours.
• Assist other technicians and engineers with maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner.
• Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations.
• Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads.
• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly.
