Job summary

Located across the street from The Mall at Short Hills, Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks an Engineer to support preventive maintenance and general upkeep of our Hilton Short Hills property. You will work with the engineering team to complete work orders to high standards, using hand and power tools, chemicals and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in general hotel, apartment or building maintenance, including painting, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with air conditioning, boilers and mechanical systems preferred.
• Black Seal certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance of hotel rooms and general hotel maintenance.
• Complete work orders in accordance with high-quality standards.
• Work with hand and power tools and with chemicals and heavy machinery; evening and overnight availability may be required.
