Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Maintenance Engineer for a full‑time role. The position focuses on maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and grounds while ensuring reliability of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on maintenance experience in hotels, strong math, communication and time management skills, and the ability to complete work orders promptly. The role includes full benefits and a dynamic, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Two years hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• College or trade school in mechanical, electrical or technical disciplines preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
