Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for Hyatt Place Athens/Downtown. This role performs a range of maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a fast-paced hotel environment, ensuring systems run smoothly and guest satisfaction remains high.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry needs, keep meticulous maintenance records, and collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Engaging, welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
• Maintains logs on completed tasks.
• Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
• Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
