Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company with a portfolio of hotels and resort operations across the United States, Caribbean, and Europe, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for the Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Downtown.

You will perform maintenance trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, keep detailed maintenance records, and support a culture of service excellence for guests and associates alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Makes repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
• Maintains logs on completed tasks.
• Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
• Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
