Job summary

Holiday Inn South Plainfield-Piscataway is looking for a Hotel Engineer/Maintenance Technician to ensure all facilities and equipment are well-maintained. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, conducting repairs, and performing routine inspections.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, be able to lift heavy equipment, and be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays. A vocational education or relevant experience in hotel engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Combination of vocational education, apprenticeship, or on-the-job training required.
• Previous hotel engineering experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders promptly.
• Diagnose and repair non-functioning machinery and equipment.
