The Elms Hotel & Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, invites you to join our maintenance team at this historic Excelsior Springs property. You will be responsible for general maintenance of building systems and workshops, ensuring guest comfort and safety across features like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or resort maintenance.
• Willing to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Available to work various shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Able to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Makes repairs to woodwork, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
• Maintains logs on completed tasks.
• Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
• Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
• Any additional tasks assigned by management
