Job summary

Hilton is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to keep guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas well maintained. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and related mechanical tasks.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, and use various hand and power tools to support smooth hotel operations. A basic mechanical aptitude and strong reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance on guestrooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas.
• Carries out repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Completes daily guest room preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintains detailed records of all work orders and completed assignments.
• Demonstrates skill using related hand and electric tools.
• Shows basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and heart-of-the-house areas for needed and preventive maintenance to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel
• Perform a variety of repair, maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC, mechanical and carpentry
• Complete daily guest room preventative maintenance assignments
• Maintain a detailed record‑keeping of all work orders and completed assignments
• Demonstrate skill in the use of related tools (including both hand and electric tools)
• Possess a basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment
