Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture, appliances and building systems in excellent condition across our hotel portfolio. You will perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance and safety inspections while delivering prompt service to guests.

This role requires basic verbal and written communication, physical ability to move up to 50 pounds and availability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for an entire shift.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
Troubleshoot devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
Respond to guest requests with urgency and service mindset.
Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments.
