Job summary

InnVentures seeks a Maintenance Engineer for a Seattle-area property to keep guest rooms and facilities in top condition. You will perform repairs on PTAC/HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and appliances, handle interior and exterior upkeep, and troubleshoot systems to ensure a safe, comfortable stay for guests.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel maintenance experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are prepared to work weekends and holidays. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting preferred.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Continuous movement, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to stand and walk for a full shift.
  • Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
  • Troubleshoot key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
  • Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
  • Respond to guest requests with urgency and service mindset.
  • Support hotel goals through teamwork and cross-department collaboration.

  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift. Previous technical training or job experience is a plus. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
