Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Denver is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to upkeep hotel systems, equipment, and facilities. You will be responsible for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs, including installing lighting fixtures and testing machinery.

The role requires hands-on maintenance work, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior hotel maintenance experience or equivalent facility management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a hotel engineer is preferred or comparable maintenance experience at an establishment such as apartment complex or office building.
• Ability to be yourself, lead yourself, make it count!
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and paint hotel parts and fixtures.
• Install and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs.
• Clean carpets and rugs.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines and diagnose problems with Supervisors.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of the establishment.
