Job summary

The Lodge at Primland, Auberge Collection is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Team Member to safeguard guest comfort by maintaining plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems across the property.

You will identify issues, perform repairs, conduct safety inspections, and respond to emergencies, including overnight shifts from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. Prior hotel maintenance experience is preferred and English communication with guests is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hotel/maintenance technician or engineer preferred.
• Experience with power tools and safety practices.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions for assembling mechanical equipment, furniture, and safety warnings.
• Strong English communication with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Willingness to work some PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other fixtures to ensure functionality and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, facilities, and guest rooms, addressing problems promptly to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
• Conduct repairs on hotel property, such as fixing leaks, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged furniture or equipment, to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the property.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or elevator malfunctions, to quickly resolve issues and minimize disruptions to guest services.
• Work overnight 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
