Job summary

The Lodge at Primland, Auberge Collection in Meadows of Dan, VA, seeks a Hotel Maintenance Team Member to uphold top guest comfort and property integrity. You will perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures, and address issues promptly to minimize downtime.

You'll conduct safety inspections, respond to emergencies, and work the overnight shift from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, with compensation of $22–$24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience serving as a technician or engineer within a hotel or property management preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to work some PM shifts is required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other fixtures to ensure functionality and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, facilities, and guest rooms, addressing problems promptly to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
• Conduct repairs on hotel property, such as fixing leaks, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged furniture or equipment, to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the property.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or elevator malfunctions, to quickly resolve issues and minimize disruptions to guest services.
• Work overnight 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
