Job summary

Auberge Collection is looking for a full-time Hotel Maintenance / Engineer (2nd Shift) to join their team. Located in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, you will oversee the maintenance of the property, ensuring all facilities are safe and functioning optimally for guests.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel maintenance, capable of performing repairs across various systems, and ensuring guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other fixtures to ensure functionality and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, facilities, and guest rooms, addressing problems promptly to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
• Conduct repairs on hotel property, such as fixing leaks, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged furniture or equipment, to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the property.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or elevator malfunctions, to quickly resolve issues and minimize disruptions to guest services.

Qualifications

• Experience serving as a technician or engineer within a hotel or property management preferred.
• Experience with power tools use and safety.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to work some PM shifts is required.
