Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts in California is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to supervise the property's maintenance program, keep equipment fully functional, and ensure guest safety and comfort. You’ll oversee routine tasks, coordinate with housekeeping and management, and respond to maintenance emergencies to preserve a five-star guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school

Qualifications

• Two to four years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Driving license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans.
• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments.
• Collaborate with other personnel who will help with maintenance tasks.
• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment.
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours.
