Job summary

ARK is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure our visitors have an excellent experience at our Triadelphia, WV property. You’ll manage building maintenance and preventative programs daily to safeguard guest health and safety.

You should be a strong communicator, a team player, and enjoy engaging with new people; responsibilities include using a range of tools, collaborating with staff, and responding to maintenance issues promptly to keep guests satisfied.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Driver’s license and outstanding driving record.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with facilities maintenance software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches.
• Collaborate with other personnel who will assist with maintenance tasks.
• Address maintenance issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to engineering safety norms and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies outside regular hours.

Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. The ideal candidate for this position will be an outstanding communicator, a team player, and, above all, someone who enjoys engaging with new people.

Compensation

$15 - $16 hourly

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary
• You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
• This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred

Responsibilities

• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
• Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
